William Chang, Planters' artificial manager, went to an intensive three-week training seminar in the Philippines. The course teaches technical skills such as pattern making, gel coating and lamination as well as how to craft rubber moulds, rubber castings, resin; material mixing, execution and finishing. Painting techniques are also taught, including airbrushing, brush techniques, paint mixture techniques and top coat applications.

The purpose of the additional training is to further increase the quality of Planters' products. This advanced training will also allow the company to make artificial palm trees in their own fibreglass factory that will match the local palms in every aspect, thereby increasing product options.

Here you can see the difference between the bark of a local date palm and an artificial one:

The Planters' team is consistently trained with the latest methods, techniques and products; keeping them at the forefront of interior landscaping and plant maintenance. For more information, please call +971 4 388 3283, email or visit
